Eritrea: Matriculation Examination Results Released

Asmara — 2011/2012 Secondary School Matriculation Examination results have been released today in the respective secondary schools.

Finan Girmai who scored 3.8 grade point, Semir Mohammed Seid and Merhawi Gebremedhin indicated that peer education and the motivational role of teachers, as well as guardians was a stepping stone to success, besides the vitality of individual effort. They further asserted that they would step up endeavors to register still better results in college.

Parents called on students who registered satisfactory grade points in the examination to prepare themselves with vision for long journey of college education, and the other students to effectively utilize vocational training opportunities.

Reports indicate that a total of 17,741students sat for the 2011/2012 Secondary School Matriculation Examination.
