Morocco: HM the King to Chair Ceremonies Commemorating Throne Day, Deliver Speech to Nation

Rabat — On the occasion of the 13 anniversary of the enthronement of HM King Mohammed VI, the sovereign will chair, on Monday, an Iftar (fast-breaking meal) at the Rabat Royal Palace and deliver the same day the Throne Day's speech which will be aired on TV and radio channels starting 1.00 p.m., the Ministry of the Royal Household, Protocol and Chancellery announced.

In a statement, the Ministry said that that HM the King, Supreme Commander and Chief of Staff of the Royal Armed Forces (FAR) will preside, on Tuesday evening at the Rabat Royal Palace, over the oath-taking ceremony by newly-graduated officers from the different military, paramilitary and civilian schools and institutes.

It added that their royal highnesses the princesses will chair in the same day a reception offered by HM the King at the Rabat Royal Palace in honor of the guests.
