Senafe — Women training center in Senafe worth around 20 million Nakfa funded by NUEW North America branch inaugurated on 26 July.

The center includes 13 rooms for computer training, weaving as well as other vocational trainings.

Ms. Leul Gebreab, Chairperson of NUEW, after officially inaugurating the center indicated that the establishment of the center is in continuation of the contribution of Eritrean women living abroad in funding training centers in different cities of the country and that such contribution would have high contribution in developing women human resources.

Mr. Mustafa Nur-Husein, Administrator of Southern region, on his part appreciating the contribution by the NUEW North America branch reminded for the judicial usage of the center.

Ms. Saliha Adm, head of NUEW southern region branch, explained that the number of women in the work force trained in teaching, health, engineering and other profession is increasing and that this training center built by Eritrean women living abroad will commence activities in the near future.

Representative of the NUEW North America branch, Ms. Samrawit Michael, expressed resolve of Eritrean women living abroad to participate in their capacity in all development programs taking place in the country.
