Nigeria: Fasheun, Others React to Calls for Removal of Immunity Clause

The Leader of the Oodua Peoples' Congress (OPC), Dr Frederick Fasheun, on Monday backed the call for the removal of the immunity clause from the constitution.

Section 308 of the 1999 Constitution gives immunity to the President, Vice-President, Governors and Deputy Governors from prosecution while in office.
