Angola: Foreign Minister Pays Homage to Holocaust Victims

Jerusalem — The Angolan minister of Foreign Affairs, Georges Rebelo Chikoti, last Tuesday placed a wreath on the Yad Vashen memorial, thus paying homage to the victims of the Holocaust.

In the book of honour, Georges Rebelo Chikoti wrote that the international community ought to educate the generations to avoid a repetition of a Holocaust similar to the one suffered by the Jewish people during the Second World War.

In the ambit of this official trip, the Angolan Foreign minister has already visited the Holocaust Museum.

Georges Rebelo Chicoti got emotional when he learnt of the high degree of suffering and horror caused to the Jewish people by the Nazi regime.

The Yad Vashen Museum was opened to the public in 2006.
