Angola: Nation to Face Portugal At World Cup in Montenegro

Luanda — The national handball female cadets team will face on 16 August, in Montenegro, Portugal for the opening game of group D of the World Cup of sport, ANGOP learned from the official website of the International Handball Federation (IHF).

The national team coached by Alex Fernandes, have yet to go to Norway, Brazil and Japan, from August 18, 19 to 21 for the second, third and fourth rounds, respectively.

The series A is integrated by teams of Hungary, Switzerland, Netherlands, Croatia and Paraguay, and in the group B are Russia, Romania, Montenegro, DR Congo and Kazakhstan, while Denmark, France, Korea, Uruguay and the Czech Republic in the group C.

They are serving the national team of cadets the players Delia Hebo, Nicole Candido, Liliana Venancio, Juliana Machado, Marta Alberto, Teresa Leite, Vonete Domingos Giovania Eduardo, Antónia dos Santos, Stela Domingos, Wilma Luceu, Gloria Mayala, Tchesa Pemba, Célia Hebo, Natalia Kalandua, Isabel Pacavira and Lucelia Mario.

Sweden is the defending champion of the last World Cup held in 2010 in the Dominican Republic. This competition ends on August 26.
