Liberia: Ellen Congratulates Benin

On the occasion marking the observance of the 52nd Independence Anniversary of the Republic of Benin, President Ellen Johnson-Sirleaf has sent a congratulatory message to the Government and People of that country as it celebrates this historic event.

The Republic of Benin's 52nd Independence Anniversary is Wednesday, August 1, 2012. In her message to President Yayi Boni, Madam Johnson Sirleaf on behalf of Liberia, extended heartfelt congratulations and best wishes to the Beninese leader, and through him, to the Government and People of Benin.

President Johnson-Sirleaf hoped that the bond of friendship so happily subsisting between the two Governments and Peoples will be further expanded in the years ahead. The Liberian leader then prayed that the Almighty God will shower President Boni with abundant wisdom and prolonged good health as he steers the affairs of that sisterly Republic.
