Egypt: FM Stresses Need for Offering More Care to Expats

Foreign Minister Mohamed Amr has said it is essential to prioritize offering more care to Egyptians living abroad.

Amr highlighted the importance of taking all measures to protect rights of Egyptian expats and promote their bonds with their homeland. This came during a meeting between Amr and a delegation from the General Union of Egyptians Abroad on Wednesday 1/8/2012.

Foreign Ministry Spokesman Amr Roshdi said talks took up the role of Egyptian consulates and embassies in serving Egyptian expatriates. Amr reiterated the ministry's keenness on providing full support for Egyptian missions, according to the spokesman.
