Angola: Kwanza-Norte Governor Hands Over Agricultural Tools

Ndalatando — Three tractors, some agricultural tools and a mill were handed over Thursday at Samba Lucala Commune, to the peasants of Longo co-operative, by the governor of central Kwanza-Norte province, Henriques André Júnior, Angop witnessed.

At the ceremony, the governor called on the members of the co-operative to increase production with a view to food self-sufficiency in the region.

He said that the mentioned equipment are part of the efforts of Angolan Government to meet the needs of the peasants, adding that the Government is ready to further lessen difficulties facing the peasant and their families.
