Kenya: Pan Paper Gets New Manager

The task force mandated to revive Pan paper Mills has officially handed over the company to a new receiver manager Ian Small.

Outgoing acting managing director and team leader Wafula Muliaro yesterday wished Small all the best after officially handing over the factory at a Webuye hotel.

"I am proud to say we have managed to prove that the factory is still viable and is worth reviving for the good of the community," said Muliaro.

Muliaro dismissed claims that the machines are obsolete and outdated.

Muliaro assured the 1,500 workers of Pan Paper that their jobs are secure and once the factory starts operations, the receiver manager will considered giving their jobs back.
