Angolan Pavilion Receives Reservations for Purchasing Art Work

Luanda — The Angolan Pavilion at Universal Yesou Exhibition (Expo-2012), South Korea, received Wednesday a total of ten requests for reservation of purchasing art work, exhibited in its gallery.

This was said to Angop on Thursday by one of the curators of art gallery from Angolan pavilion at that world event, Fernandes de Carvalho "Tozé", to whom these reservations represent acceptance of the national artists' products, as well as other arts work made available for foreigners observation.

Fernandes de Carvalho said that it is an honour to receive these requests, though the purchase will only happen at the end of Yeosu International Fair.

The curator added that the visitors have shown interest in the collection of paintings and not by any individual artist, but highlighted the performance of the painters Guilherme Mampuya, Benjamin Saby and especially the artist Maimba, given the aesthetic presentation of his work.
