Nigeria Joins Global Space Frequency Group

Nigeria has been admitted into the radio-frequency union of global space agencies, popularly known as the Global Space Frequency Coordination Group (SFCG).

Nigeria's space agency, National Space Research and Development Agency (NASRDA) is the first African space agency to be admitted on the floor of the SFCG, a statement by NASRDA said yesterday.

NASRDA spokesman Felix Ale said the successful admission of Nigeria into the global body is in recognition of the success story of the space agency and the successful implementation of Nigeria's space agenda thus far.
