Angola: Over 5,500 Readers Visited Chibia Library

Chibia — At least 5,500 readers visited the Municipal Library of Chibia, in southern Huila province, in the first half of this year, the institution's director, Salvador Moçambique, told Angop.

The official told Angop that among the readers are teachers, students as well as other members of the public.

Salvador Moçambique said that the readers sought for academic and literature books, as well as newspapers and magazines.

Inaugurated in April 2010, the only libray of the municipality has 404 works, of which 107 of literature, 149 magazines, 63 academic ones and 85 newspapers, he said.
