This Day (Lagos)

Nigeria: Bauchi PDP On Bala

A chieftain of the Peoples Democratic Party(PDP),Dan Amar Ward 'A' in Bauchi Local Government area of Bauchi State, Mallam M.M Kebi has dissociated the party from the publication of a weekly newspaper which carried a news item discrediting the person of the FCT Minister, Senator Bala Mohammed.

Kebi also described the author, of the report, Mr. B.B Dogo as a "mischief maker who does not belong to PDP in the state talk less of being chieftain of the party in the state".

In a press statement he signed and made available to newsmen in Bauchi Friday, Kebi said "what the so called B.B Dogo reported about the FCT minister did not and has never represented the mind of the PDP in Bauchi State but self seeking and his personal opinion".

Kebi said the PDP is a "responsible party with organized hierarchy "and therefore, B.B Dogo cannot speak on behalf of the leadership of the part for he is someone who changes from one party to the other for selfish interest".
