Egypt: Government Convenes to Discuss Morsy Assignments

Prime Minister Hisham Qandeel on Friday 03/08/2012 chaired an expanded ministerial meeting, the first of his new government, to discuss President Mohamed Morsy's assignments.

A Cabinet statement said that Morsy's assignments letter focused on programs to solve daily problems of citizens and future plans to be implemented on the medium and long terms.

Qandeel directed that teams to be formed within one week to start working on the urgent files of security, cleanness, traffic and oil products.

The government received the letter of assignments during a meeting with President Morsy Thursday night.
