Zimbabwe: Twenty in Elite Model Look Finals

TWENTY models have made it to the national finals of the Elite Model Look Zimbabwe 2012 contest.

The models were drawn from a pool of 62 beauties from all over the country's 10 provinces which were held in Harare on July 28. They will battle for top honours at the national finals penciled for October 27 in Harare.

During the finals, the models will be under the supervision of a professional team who will train them in makeovers, photo-shoots, fittings and rehearsals meant to usher them into the professional world of modelling.

The model who will emerge the overall winner then proceed to the prestigious world finals of the Elite Model Look contest to be held in Shanghai, China, on December 1.

"We hope the models will follow in the footsteps of Cindy Crawford, Stephanie Seymour, Gisele Bundchen and Nyasha Matonhodze who have all started their modelling careers thanks to the Elite Model contest," said Janice Costa of Elite Model Look Zimbabwe.

The 20 finalists who will contest at the national finals are:

Tracy Winters; Alisa Adams; Saahirah Ismail; Marble Nyathi; Lauren McIntosh; Rairo Chengetai; Panashe Pfende; Beth McGaw; Malaika Mushandu; Rumbi Maizai; Fadzai Muhuti; Chipo Malinganiso; Robyn Lawler; Catherine Chigarira; Tonderai Koschke; Carey Murphy; Marcia Bngure; Thabiso Phiri; Anesu Muzondo and Chantel George.
