Angola: Priest Praises Head of State for Creating Conditions At Muxima Sanctuary

Muxima — The dean of "Nossa Senhora da Muxima" Sanctuary, priest Albino Reyes Gonzales, praised the efforts and dedication of the head of State, José Eduardo dos Santos, in rehabilitating the infrastructures to improve the access of pilgrims to the sanctuary.

The priest was speaking on Sunday in Muxima town, south of Luanda province. The priest stressed the rehabilitation of the two routes leading to Muxima, as well as the repair of schools and hospital, health centres, among other social facilities.

Father Albino Reyes Gonzales also highlighted the organisation of Luanda provincial Government (GPL) commission led by governor Bento Francisco Sebastião Bento, as well as the security forces and emergency services.

The pilgrimage to Muxima sanctuary went with the theme "Family, rise and walk, family and reconciliation."
