document

With a front-page picture of President Alassane Ouattara holding a pickaxe while Chinese officials look on, Fraternite Matin carried a headline reading, "Ouattara transforms the dream to reality." The paper (p. 4) carried another picture of the president launching the construction of the multi-million dollar road project. The planned highway, the paper said, will connect Abidjan to the southern town of Grand Bassam and facilitate the movement of people and goods between Cote d'Ivoire and the neighboring Ghana.
