Chairman of Darfur Regional Authority (DRA), Dr.Tigani Al-Sessi, denounced Sunday the sorrowful incidents in Kutum and Nyala towns, saying that anyone involved in these incidents will be brought before the justice.

Dr. Al-Sessi said in a press statement after chairing a meeting of the DRA that the council of the DRA has reviewed a number of issues including the security in Darfur States and other issues. The chairman of DRA has renewed his condemnation to the culprits of the incidents in Kutum, stressing the commitment to bring the culprits for trial before court, particularly those who attacked Kassab camp for displaced persons and terrifying and killing the innocent citizens.

Dr. Al-Sessi announced that the DRA has sent the Assistant Chairman of the Darfur Regional Authority to follow-up the incidents and to work for calming down the situation. The chairman of the DRA has lauded the efforts of the Armed Forces in containing the situation and securing the market and strategic areas in Kutum Locality.
