Angola: Road Accident Survivors Get Aid in Ndalatando

Ndalatando — Eighteen survivors of the weekend accident on the road linking the localities of Libolo (central Kwanza Sul province) and Dondo (Kwanza Norte) that killed 23 and injured 29 fans of the Kabuscorpo do Palanca football club, continue receiving intensive care in the latter province's Ndalatando city hospital.

Speaking to journalists, the hospital's clinic director, Mbiavanga Eduardo Alves, said of the eighteen survivors of the accident, six are interned in the intensive car ward of the hospital, in view of their serious injuries in several regions of the body.

The source added that in view of the seriousness of the injuries sustained by some survivors when the bus they were travelling in overturned, they are being gradually transferred to some Luanda hospitals.
