Angola: Transports Minister Inaugurates Seven Railway Stations in Luanda

Luanda — The minister of Transports, Augusto da Silva Tomás, Tuesday Here inaugurated seven stations of the Luanda Railway Company (CFL), Angop witnessed.

The inaugurations follow the rehabilitation and modernisation of the CFL, under an initiative of the president of the Republic, José Eduardo dos Santos.

According to the minister during the event, the inaugurations represent the end of the first phase of the mentioned project that enabled the construction of 20 railways stations in the Luanda/Bengo/Kwanza-Norte/Malanje route.

In June this year, the minister inaugurated nine stations namely those of Viana, Kapalanga, Entroncamento, Baia, Catete, Barraca, Zenza to Itombe, Cassualala and Dondo.
