Nigeria: Ladipo Adamolekun - a Colossus At 70

The Top of the Hill auditorium of the Federal University of Technology, Akure on Saturday July 21 witnessed an invasion by a crowd of intellectuals and various categories of leaders from different parts of Nigeria.

The reason is the 2012 Annual Iju Public Affairs Forum (IPAF) organised by Professor Ladipo Adamolekun, a product of Ibadan and Oxford Universities, a leading authority on Politics and Public Administration in Africa and a Nigeria National Merit Award winner. Unknown to many who attended the academic gathering, this year's Forum coincides with Professor Adamolekun's entry into the septuagenarian club (he turned 70 on Friday 20 July)!
