Rwanda: Paccy To Launch 'Miss President' Album

Local upcoming female Hip-Hop artiste Pacific Ado, is set to launch her debut album this month in Kigali.

Singer-songwriter Pacifique, better known as Paccy will on August 20 launch her first English album, "Miss President", at the Petit Stade in Kigali.

The album is a blend of electro-Hip-hop and Pop-rock ballads. Paccy's lyrics reflect a sort of simplicity that can be associated with reality issues in society.

The last two years have not been incredibly prolific for the young mother of one. However, with a number of awesome singles behind her, Paccy promises her fans an electrifying live concert, which will also double as her comeback.

Paccy shot to fame in 2009 with her hit single, "Ese Nzapfa".

Various local artistes, including Jay Polly, Riderman, King James, Urban Boyz, Uncle Austin as well as Kamichi and Knowless are set to grace the show. The National University of Rwanda's Trezzor band is also expected to perform at the concert.

Entrance fee to the concert is Rwf2, 000 and Rwf5, 000 for ordinary and V.I.P seats, respectively.
