Cote d'Ivoire to Host African Women Award

The ECOWAS commission has disclosed that this year's edition of the outstanding African women award will be hosted in Abidjan, Cote d'Ivoire in September.

This was disclosed at the end of the meeting of jury for the selection of the 2012 African Union's Kwame Nkrumah Scientific Awards for Women, being implemented on behalf of the Union by ECOWAS.

The team, according ECOWAS is made up of resource persons from research institutes and universities in the ECOWAS region and it would consider three top nominees for the prize.
