Namibia: Passion Claims Another Life

Windhoek — Namibia has been rocked by yet another passion killing after a man hacked his girlfriend to death with a panga in the early hours of Sunday morning in the Epako squatter camp at Gobabis.

Omaheke Regional Police Commander, Commissioner Josephat Abel, said it was not yet clear what led to the fatal incident, but neighbours apparently heard screams coming from the couple's shack the night before and when nobody came out of the house the next morning, they called the police.
