Zambia: Accused Bolivians Ask to Be Freed

THE two Bolivians charged with importation and trafficking of cocaine have asked the Lusaka magistrates' court to set them free because the substance was not chemically analysed and tested.

They said they should be acquitted contending that the prosecution has failed to discharge both the legal and evidential burden in the matter.
