Sierra Leone: Nomination Fees May Disenfranchise Candidates - Decries NDA

The National Democratic Alliance (NDA) has described the nomination fees prescribed by the National Electoral Commission (NEC) last month as ridiculous, saying the high fees may disenfranchise citizens willing to contest in the November 17 polls.

"The money and timeframe is absurd and we see it as way of disenfranchising the people of Sierra Leone," states a release issued by the party last week.
