Nigeria: 415 Million Tourists to Travel Across the Globe - UNTWO

More than 415 million tourists are expected to travel across the globe between May and August, to visit tourist sites, the United Nations Tourism Organisation (UNWTO) has said.

A statement from the organisation yesterday in Abuja said that the period was the peak season in most of the world's leading outbound markets and tourist destinations.

The statement said that in the past years the four months represented 41 per cent of the yearly total travels embarked upon by tourists. It said that the prospects were confirmed by data on air transport bookings from business intelligence tool. NAN
