Enugu — The Council for the Regulation of Engineering in Nigeria (COREN) has called on the Federal Ministry of Water Resources to always ensure adequate maintenance of the nation's dams as negligence could spell disaster. The association stated that regular and proper maintenance of the dams across the country would save the nation from unpleasant occurrences arising from flooding just as it raised an alarm that the proposed power stations in the country might be jeopardized by the absence of skilled artisans and technicians.
