Nigeria: Abuja Muslim Forum Gets New Executive

The Abuja Muslim Forum (AMF) yesterday inaugurated a new 14-man executive council with a charge to improve on the achievements of their predecessors.

Coordinator of the Shura (selection council) committee, Justice Nurain T. Dindi, urged the incoming executives to see themselves as employee of Muslims in Abuja and environs.

The council are Ameer (President) Mallam Luqman Amoo; Mallam Ibrahim Idris, deputy ameer I; Imam Muhammad Nura Khalid, deputy ameer II; Imam Murtala Abd al-Rahman, secretary general; Imam Umar Muhammad Cekpa, assistant secretary general I and Barrister Muhammad Shehu, assistant secretary general II.

Others are Malam Usman Haruna Sulaiman, organising secretary; Mallam Muhammad Shamsuddeen Fahm, financial secretary; Malam Yunus Salahudeen, PRO; Imam Qaseem Okikiola, assistant PRO; Malam Yaqub Sulaiman, treasurer; Barrister Luqman Ahmad, legal adviser; Barrister Ruqayyah Bello Animashaun, assistant legal adviser and Mallam Yakubu Yusuf Sodangi, internal auditor.
