Nigeria's Isah Muhammad, fumbled out of the 68kg category of the taekwondo events Thursday as his Jordanian opponent, Mohammad Abulibdeh secured a resounding 13-1 victory.

Isah was simply no match for the Jordanian as he failed to conjure any trick that would have reversed his tortuous misadventure.

Nigeria's other qualifier, Chika Chukwumerije is to take his turn on the mat on Saturday against Robelis Despaigne of Cuba.

The Team Nigeria captain is already under pressure as most of his colleagues have ended their campaign here.

Nigeria's women 4x400m relay team are expected to try their luck in the preliminaries of the event starting Friday morning at the Olympic Stadium.

The final holds tomorrow.
