Eritrea: SWP Participants Register Commendable Accomplishment Regarding Traffic Safety

Asmara — Participants of the SWP have made commendable contribution in ensuring traffic safety and raising popular awareness in this regard, according to residents of Asmara city.

Among the residents, Mr. Teklehaimanot Debesai and Mr. Tedros Mengis, voiced appreciation for the active role played by the participants of the program as regards assisting pedestrians and promoting traffic rules, zebra crossing as well as car belt. Likewise, Mr. Tewoldemedhin Andemichael, a driver, commended the dedication of the SW participants in endeavors to promote traffic safety.

Among the participants, Abdu Mohammed-Nur, Alai Ogba'ab and Hermela Tewolde expressed conviction that they acquired significant awareness regarding traffic law.

Pointing out that 179 students took part in the task, Mr. Rezene Kidane, coordinator in the undertaking, explained that promotional material distributed by them is expected to have a positive impact in raising people's awareness regarding traffic law.
