Maiduguri — THE Joint Task Force in Maiduguri has clampdown on suspected notorious terrorists Sunday where it claimed that it had killed 20 sect members during a shoot out Saturday night.

It was also gathered that during the shoot out a soldier was killed and two others sustained bullet injuries.

A military source revealed that the clampdown was after the task force received an intelligence report that the sect was meeting at one of their hideouts within the Maiduguri metropolis to hatch a plan attack on the town.
