Egypt: Morsi Meets With Chief of Staff Over Sinai Security Operations

President Mohamed Morsi met on Saturday with Chief of Staff Sami Anan taking up means to support the Armed Forces' efforts to control all Sinai.

Regarding the issue of re-opening Rafah crossing, presidential spokesman Yasser Ali said that the issue is governed by the rule of law and the Egyptian sovereignty and interests.

At the same time, president Morsi met on Saturday with Head of Suez Canal Authority Mohamed Ali Fadel.

Also Morsi received Military Production Minister Ali Sabri. The spokesman said the meeting discussed the role played by the ministry in issues pertaining to the public including waste and garbage recycling projects.
