Nigeria: Kogi Judokas Get Kits Boost

Lokoja — PREPARATION of athletes representing Kogi State in the judo competition of next month's National Sports Festival in Port Harcourt, Rivers State, received a boost with the donation of sporting kits worth thousands of naira by the state's boxing association.

Chairman of Kogi State Boxing Association, Alhaji Suleiman Damisa said he was pleased to be associated with the Judo Association, which has done the state proud in both national and international competitions.

The kits comprised of standard training mats and jugogis (costume.)

According to Damisa, the kits are to motivate the players so that they can bring out their best in national competitions.
