Bauchi — The Federal Government has reiterated its commitment to reduce accommodation problems in the country by building one million affordable houses for citizens yearly.
The Minister of Lands, Housing and Urban Development, Ama Pepple, stated this yesterday while commissioning the first phase of the 288 out of the 575 National Housing Scheme in Bauchi State. Speaking at the commissioning ceremony in Dungal village, along Bauchi Jos road, the minster lamented that housing programs in the past were abandoned, but assured that the present administration would work hard to provide shelter for all its citizens.
