Namibia: Omuthiya Pupil in Court On Assault Charge

ONE of the two pupils of Omuthiya-Iipundi Senior Secondary School who were arrested at Omuthiya last Saturday after allegedly assaulting a teacher appeared in the Ondangwa Magistrate's Court on Monday.

Toivo Kambungu (19) was not asked to plead and his case has been postponed to September 11 for further police investigation. He was granted bail of N$500.
