Egypt: Mubarak to Remain At Tora Prison Hospital-Prosecutor

General prosecutor Judge Abdel Meguid Mahmoud decided on Wednesday to keep former president Hosni Mubarak at Tora prison's hospital.

The decision was taken in light of the medical report of the committee the prosecutor formed which confirmed that Mubarak's condition is stable, assistant general prosecutor and the prosecution's spokesperson Judge Adel al-Saeed said.

The committee recommended that Mubarak remains at the prison's hospital.

The general prosecutor received on Tuesday the committee's report which stated that there is no actual medical reason to transfer Mubarak to another hospital equipped with a specialized medical team, the Middle East News Agency (MENA) reported today.
