Eritrea: Gerset Inhabitants Witnessing Improvement of Livelihood Based On Gerset Agricultural Project

Tesenei — The inhabitants of Gerset village said that Gerset Agricultural Project has become a basis for improvement of their livelihood through ensuring job opportunities and exposure to work experience.

Among the inhabitants, Ms. Halima Ali and Ms. Amna Berih pointed out that they could adequately support their families thanks to the career opportunities the project has created, and that their awareness has been raised as regards modern farming practice.

Mr. Idris Osman on his part indicated that agriculture experts working for the project are playing vital role in propagating the skills of irrigation farming in the area.
