Egypt/Ghana: Al-Badry - 'It Will Be a Difficult Game'

interview

Hossam Al-Badry, Head Coach of Egyptian giants Al-Ahly reckons a difficult task against Ghana's Berekum Chelsea in their Orange CAF Champions League day four clash on Sunday in Accra. Al-Badry also talks about the expectations of the game amongst others ahead of the game. Below are excerpts;

What do you make of your clash with Berekum Chelsea?

It will be a difficult game. The group is very complicated due to the current situation. Each of the teams is looking forward to winning the remaining games and this makes every match very difficult.

After winning the reverse fixture 4-1 two weeks ago, what are your observations of the Berekum Chelsea team?

They have a strong team with several young talented players. They have their strong and weak points. We respect them and we are here (Accra) to do our best. Though we have nine points, we haven't qualified yet and will play for a good result.

What do you make of the return of key players including Mohamed Aboutreika for this crucial game?

Our key players who were with the Egyptian team at the London 2012 Olympic Games are available for this game and it's a big boost to our chances. Their presence can have an impact on our chances. We are ready for the challenge.
