Egypt's Ambassador in Tripoli - Talks With Authorities to Release Egyptian Detainees

The Egyptian Ambassador to Libya Hisham Abdul-Wahab said that the embassy is in contacts with both the Libyan Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Office of the Attorney General to follow up a number of issues, topped by the issue of the Egyptians held by the rebel battalions, and the issue of remnants of the Libyan former regime in Egypt.

Abdul-Wahab pointed out that there are contacts with the Libyan government to accelerate the release of the Egyptians held by the rebel battalions in Tripoli. He stressed that this issue is given high-level attention by the authorities in Egypt.
