Angola: Opposition New Democracy Coalition Mobilizes Voters in Sapú Ward Market

Luanda — The New Democracy Coalition (ND) held on Friday in Sapú ward market in Luanda a mobilization activity of voters, under its electoral campaign for the general elections, set for August 31 in 2012.

The activity, led by the advisor for political and electoral affairs, João Castro Freedon, is related to the distribution of propaganda material aimed to transmit the vendors the main guidelines of the party and its governance programme, in case the party wins the elections.

On the occasion, ND politician said that his party decided to visit the venue to integrate with local population who has been working hard to survive.

"We found here a very hard working and dynamic people ", said the official that considered the reception good and in Angolan way.

The coalition is comprised by nine political parties that ran in the legislative elections for the first time in 2008, having obtained two seats in the parliament.
