Angola: Definitive Circulation of CFM Train Set for August 30

Lubango — The definitive circulation of Moçamedes Railway Company (CFM) is set for August 30, with a train trip going through the provinces of Namibe, Huíla and Kuando Kubango.

This was said on Thursday in Lubango by the chairman of CFM, Daniel Quipaxe.

According to Daniel Quipaxe, conditions are all in place, at a time that 89.9 percent of 56 train stations are already inaugurated.

The official said that at the moment 20 wagons are available for first, second and third classes, as well as restaurants and the rehabilitation of a railway with 906 kilometres of the route of Namibe/ Huíla/Kuando Kubango.

Aiming for providing better service to the population, CFM will soon employ youths in the areas of carpentry, restaurant and mechanics, among others.
