Nigeria: CSOs Call for Abolition of Harmful Tax Practices

Civil Society Organisations (CSOs) under the aegis of National Platform on Tax Justice has called for the abolition of harmful and regressive tax practices.

This was part of resolutions reached in a communique issued in Abuja yesterday following findings in a report titled, 'Baseline Study on Tax in Nigeria,' and Launching of National Platform on Tax Justice aimed at engaging the government in raising awareness on the need for a just, equitable and efficient tax system in Nigeria.
