Sudan: Student Killed By Unknown Gunmen At Omdurman's Market

Omdurman — The student Adam Sherif Arbab was killed in Khartoum on Saturday after a payment dispute.

Adam Sherif, a student at University of Khartoum, was stabbed several times in different parts of his body by unknown gunmen. A relative of Adam Sherif told Radio Dabanga that three gunmen approached Sherif, at his cigarette shop in Omdurman's Popular market to buy cigarettes.

After buying cigarettes, Adam Sherif asked the men to pay the amount due which they refused. When he insisted on the payment, he was threatened with a gun and stabbed several times in different parts of his body. He was shot dead on the spot. Adam Sherif's family is originally from Shataya and currently living in an IDP camp south of Kass.
