Nigeria: Benue Rewards Lobi With N2.5 Million for Continental Ticket

Impressed with the performance of his wards in the ongoing football season, Governor Gabriel Suswam of Benue State has financially reward his state's team for winning a continental ticket.

The governor, who made the reward in Makurdi, when he feted Lobi's players and officials, gave them a sum of N2.5million immediately after their 3-0 home victory over Enugu Rangers which guaranteed their place in the continent next season.
