Angola: World Church Pledges to Intensify Prayers for Peace

Luanda — The pastor of the Worldwide God's Power Church, Paulo Jorge said Tuesday in Luanda that his congregation in cooperation with other religious organisations will intensify prayers in order to intercede to God for a peaceful electoral process.

The church leader promised so while addressing the hundreds of believers, on the sidelines of the visit of provincial governor of Luanda to that church.

According to him, his religion will keep appealing to the faithful until 31 August so that elections are held in a festive and normal environment.

Paulo Jorge recalled that the participation of all in the successful electoral process is extremely important.

According to him, there is no peace in worship place unless the country enjoys political stability.
