Windhoeck — The capital city of Angola's the northern Kwanza Norte province, Ndalatando, was mentioned by the ex-combatant of the Namibia's Southwest Africa People's Organisation (SWAPO) and member of Parliament, Libertina I. Amathila, during the presentation of her book titled "Making a Difference".
According to her, Ndalatando city is part of her trajectory of which she keeps many recollections of the Namibian liberation struggle, alike in Tanzania, Zambia and other places she had been to in the fight for the independence of her country.
In his turn, the Namibian Parliament speaker, Theo-Ben Gurirab, recognised Amathila as a leader of people of all races, colours and creeds, adding that all along she fulfilled her tasks in serving people, particularly the needy communities she went to.
Making a Difference is a 266-page book and two appendices, with the first containing personal documents and the other her biography.
The ceremony was witnessed by the Namibian Parliament speaker, Cabinet ministers, members of the diplomatic corps and guests.
