Nigeria: Thousands Took to the Streets in Offa Against Tribunal's Judgement

Ilorin — There is now tension in Offa, as more than ten thousands protesters including non politicians took to the streets Wednesday night and repeatedly Thursday morning against the judgement of the Local Government Election Petition Tribunal which Wednesday sacked the chairman, Prince Saheed Popoola,the only Action Congress of Nigeria(ACN)member among the sixteen councils in the state and ordered rerun in 90days.

Prince Saheed Popoola speaking with journalists said he was shocked by the spontaneous reaction of the people of the town across all the ages particularly those who are not politicians.
