Angola: Governor Invites Entrepreneurs to Invest in Bengo

Caxito — The governor of the northern Bengo province, João Bernardo de Miranda, invited on Thursday in Caxito district the private business people and economic partners to invest in the establishment of factories in the region, so as to generate jobs for local youth.

João Miranda said so to the press after the inauguration of the first agro-industrial complex for banana dehydration and tomato processing.

According to him, the province cannot develop by itself, so it is needed for the social and economic partners to invest in the industry and adopt a development strategy for the region.

He recalled that before the armed conflict, the province used to have factories of sugar, cotton, plastic and soap.
